Visiting Hawaii from San Jose, CA and was super stoked to get some fresh MoDo since I usually only get it every so often when they do a pop-up in my area. Unfortunately they were sold out of 2 flavors I wanted (which is understandable since I got there an hour before they closed), but I was even more bummed that I had ordered 6 expecting them to be delicious like they are at the pop-ups and I was given cold, soft MoDo. The frosting still tasted really good but they DEFINITELY weren't fresh. Tasted more like day old MoDo =\ Maybe you have to get there when they open to get fresh ones but I'd suggest just skipping if you can't get there early on.

I've never had mochi donuts before but I'm glad I had them here. They are simply amazing. I had a black sesame donut and an earl grey one. Both tasted really authentic and fresh. They tasted so much like the flavor, it was truly amazing. They are so chewy and explode with flavor. I wish these donuts were everywhere. They were still warm from the fryer. I wish I could come here everyday. Although they showed soft serve which I didn't see. Also the place is kind of like a shack but what matters is the food

Surprisingly delicious. Thought it was just another doughnut with mochi inside and frosting on top. Actually mochi is mixed in with dough making it kind of chewy. Frosting wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Very nice surprise, kept wanting more.

Very tasty donuts: subtle flavours and not too sweet. Black sesame, matcha green tea and cookies&cream varieties were favourites. The coffee was good. The seating area which is shared with several food outlets is a good place.
